Coach<\/a>) and Joan Friedlander have written <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1932603689?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=pokerm-20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Women, Work and Autoimmune Disease: Keep Working, Girlfriend<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, which a great resource.<\/p>\n<p>The book, which is strongly pro-work, reviews:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The benefits of working, including\u00a0money and health coverage, as well as enjoyment and self-esteem.<\/li>\n<li>The challenges to working when coping with a chronic illness, such as fatigue and the unpredictability of illness.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>What is wonderful about the book is that it doesn&#8217;t shy away from tricky subjects such as, Should\u00a0you discuss your illness with your boss or co-workers? And, What do you do\u00a0when you physically can&#8217;t do your job. Instead it gives thoughtful, knowledgeable advice.<\/p>\n<p><em>Women, Work and Autoimmune Disease <\/em>is easy to read and practical. I particularly liked the complex, real-life examples.\u00a0Both authors are experts in this field.\u00a0Rosalind coaches people through these issues everyday.\u00a0And both women also understand these issues personally, having dealt with MS, Crohns disease, and Ulcerative Colitis.\u00a0I strongly recommend adding this book to your reading menu!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pain + Work = ???
