I’m doing this month’s carnival a bit differently. Instead of blogs sending in their own posts, I’m venturing out and choosing some of my favorite blogs and articles. Each month, I’ll choose 10 or so articles for you to read. Let me know what you think of the new format!

Fighting Fatigue is newly redesigned and a great resource.
There are things we have to do without because of pain. For The Sassy Lime, it’s chocolate, becuase of her migraines. My sympathies!
Here’s an excellent explanation of mirror therapy at The Neurotopian.
Working with Chronic Illness has a great interview about getting a job if you have a chronic disease.
The Daily Headache writes about doing activities, even if it’ll cause pain later, by scheduling in a break.
2 articles from A Chronic Dose… the first on making sense of medical errors and her saga when her lungs didn’t get the “it’s spring” memo.
Somebody Heal Me shares the results of a recent nerve block.
The always funny Migraine Chick shares migraine haikus.
Psychology of Pain writes about the crazy world of workers’ compensation.
Health Skills has an excellent educational article about attention management for chronic pain.
I hope you enjoy the selection. Next month’s carnival will be on May 27.
Grand Rounds, the weekly medical-blog carnival, is posted at Six Until Me. Check out the “menu.”

Thanks for all of these great articles & resources!
I wanted to share another great resource with you related to National Pain Awareness Month.
Citizens for a World Free From Chronic Pain (CWFCP) is a group created to inform the millions of people who have been searching in vain for an answer to end their chronic pain that they do not have to accept drugs or pain management as the only solution.
As part of National Pain Awareness Month, CWFCP will be GIVING AWAY 500 copies of the e-version of the book, Forever Free From Chronic Pain, by Professor Brian A. Rothbart, chronic pain elimination expert. This book outlines a drug-free, surgery-free option for the permanent elimination of chronic muscle and joint pain.
By spreading the word that there are drug-free, surgery-free permanent solutions to chronic pain, CWFCP hopes to inspire some of the millions of people suffering needlessly everyday to seek out new solutions to get their lives back.

Many thanks for your great support for chronic pain sufferers!
