Today’s featured blog is…

A Chronic Dose, a blog written by Laurie Edwards from Massachusetts.

Laurie describes her blog as “A twenty-something writer’s take on life with multiple chronic illnesses – the good, the bad, and of course, the humorous.”  This site addresses important issues such as anxiety about our health, being appropriately assertive about our health care, and living with uncommon health problems.  She’s a writer, so the site is a pleasure to read – she even has a book coming out!  Take a moment to check it out…

After we finish this series next Friday, I’ll be starting a series that’ll review websites of professional organizations related to pain that are excellent.  You’re invited to send in your own recommendations, along with why you like them, to Submissions, and I may use them for future Friday posts.  (My disclaimer states that, while I believe these websites and blogs that I feature are sound and valuable sites, I don’t monitor what they post, and as such, I don’t specifically endorse the information or services provided by them.  These organizations are solely responsible for the information they provide.)
