Today is the last day to send in your submissions for our January Pain-Blog Carnival.
A reader Bob R. wrote in recently to say:
I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your hard work.
As a guy who currently has an internal morphine pump, plus additional OxyContin and morphine, I understand just how hard it can be to live with chronic pain. Even though I take a rather heavy load of meds, I always try to share in any possible way. I don’t care how much I hurt in the body, so long as I try each day to let others know there really is hope, so long as you’re willing to start the seed within yourself. Bob.

I share Bob’s comment with you not to showcase someone saying thanks for how great this site is, but to start a conversation about how you maintain hope. What I felt from Bob’s comment was that there was a bright light of hope inside him, and therefore he was able to give to others from the “seed within him.”
Please share in the comments below how you maintain hope.

First I would like to say I absolutely love Bob’s heart. I applaud Bob for seeing the light of hope and knowing that he has the seed within himself to carry that hope wherever he goes. I am sure he brightens everyone’s day and brings smiles to the faces of those around him even when he is having a bad day with the pain levels.
I am a lot like Bob in the fact that I too believe there is always hope! I love sharing a smile with someone while waiting to see the doctor and sparking a conversation with them to find out how ‘they’ are. Caring about how others are feeling is always a great start to any day! I have always been somewhat a positive person, but never so much as after diagnosed with RSD, Firbo, Osteo, and MS! All those are “gifts” that have taught me so much about how each day if full of blessings, all you have to do is look around and notice them! Once you do that….you can’t help but be full of the wonders that a positive attitude can provide. Each day offers a new hope for us all, just take a deep breath and ‘really’ take notice of the blessings that surround you!
~God Bless~
