the words Health insurance, when it works well, can be a life saver – literally.  But many patients with pain disorders face insurance denials for procedures or medications, hassles for prior authorizations, and mountains of paperwork.

The American Pain Foundation is investigating how insurance issues affect patients with pain.  The first part of this survey is for patients:

  • with fibromyalgia
  • who live in Maryland or surrounding states

If you fit these survey requirements, APF invites you to share your insights by completing an online survey.  The results will be shared at a later date.  I believe they plan to branch out to other disorders and areas of the country in the future.

Click here to go to the survey.

Thanks for participating.  What APF learns from you can help them improve access to pain treatments for everyone!
