Every issue of your newsletter is more than welcome. I always learn something new.
This is one of the best ressources I have found on the web. Heartwarming and educational, you have found a perfect balance to inform patients about pain.
Keep up the good work and thank you for the time, effort and collaboration you put into this newsletter.

HOW CAN YOU USE THIS MIRROR IMAGERY WHEN THE R.S.D. HAS CRAWLED THROUGH YOUR WHOLE LOWER TRUNK AREA????? BOTH FEET, AND BOTH LEGS..

Vickie, it is more difficult to use mirror therapy when you have 2-sided symptoms. If 1 side is mildly affected, you can use that as the “good” side, as long as you can move it normally and it looks physically healthy. Also, as long as moving doesn’t increase pain more than slightly.

    2 other options:
    1. Instead of starting with mirror therapy, use the graded motor imagery program first.
    2. Start with tactile discrimination instead, first on your less-affected side.
