There’s relaxation, and there’s Reee…laaaax…aaaa…tionnnn

We’ve talked about relaxation exercises here, but the amenities below take easing your stress to new levels:

  • At the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, there’s a relaxation butler, who’ll provide you with the perfect pillow, herbal tea and calming music before bed.
  • You can call for the bath sommelier at the Fairmont Chicago, to draw your bath with soothing oil and aromatic therapy.
  • A little chilly? The fireplace butler will make you a fire to keep you warm at the Ritz-Carlton, Boston.
  • Or, getting too much sun? The tanning butler will put on your choice of suntan lotions at the South Beach hotel.

Amazing, aren’t they? Sorry I can’t offer these services here!

(For more interesting decadence, see my post at PokerMoments.com about Las Vegas.)

    Vegas….that was a while ago now :)
Got married there and a lot of other things I wouldn’t do again…lol

Anyway…I found this blog through a search on Google. I’m fighting to get a proper diagnose and I’ve recently been through surgeries with complications that made things worse. To remove a gallbladder can get rather complicated.
As for relaxation I use a form of breathing meditation. It’s a very simple kind of it that have been born from what used to be the “real” kind of meditation in the past.

Unfortunately the pain prevents me from the deep kind of meditation, so this will have to do.

And I would love a bunch of those butlers.. :D
