    Hi,
Now that I fill my mind with music. It has really help me redirect my thoughts away from my pain that is assocated with CRPS in my ankle and foot. I do have to be careful what type of music that I listen too. So, that it is not so mellow that it makes me sad or depressed. I do also listen to my music at rehab and that also helps redirect my attention for my ankle and foot to the up beat music instead. I do also listen to meditation cd’s that I have put on my Ipod. So, I think everyone should give it a try. I hope it helps you as much as it has me.

    Sincerely
    Chris

    Hello,
I recently found your blog and thought it was interesting. I suffer with fibromyalgia and I am always looking for natural ways to ease my pains.
I liked your post about music. I use it espacially to help with my insomnia. But today, I tested music on a level of pain that I submit myself to (me and millions of other women) : waxing my legs! For a fibro sufferer, waxing is hell! But for my self-esteem, it’s a must.
The beauty parlor had classical music on and I thought of your post. I focussed on the beautiful violin music, trying to breathe deeptly according to the music and the pain wasn’t so bad this time.
Thanks for this new way to manage pain. I will certainly apply it from now on. Like Chris, I think everyone should give it a try.
    Pain-free day to all!
    Louyse
