A few milligrams perhaps and you are bound to go ahead with the thirst of a school bully wishing hard to exhibit his strength each moment. Girls would flock around and men would gesture to clear from you vicinities. That’s why the advice is always to buy Cialis, to buy it and taste the true flavor of life.

What Do You Think About A Donation Button On My Blog?

November 14th, 2007 · 8 Comments

Many blogs have started using “Buy Me A Coffee” or even “Buy Me A Beer” buttons, where readers can donate a few dollars through PayPal if they like a particular article or frequently visit the site.  But don’t worry, I’m not thinking of putting one of these on How to Cope with Pain.

However, I am considering having a button for donating to different national pain organizations like the ones below.  But I wanted to check with you what your thoughts are… Would you find that helpful?  Would you probably not donate, but you wouldn’t mind it being on this blog?  Would you find it out of place?

RSDSA          National Pain Foundation          American Pain Foundation

I’m interested in your thoughts…  let me know in the comments.

For fellow bloggers, Litemind is having a writing contest if you’d like to check it out.  It’s an interesting website about how our brains work and how to help them work better.

Hi, I think it would be okay to put on the site if the donation were going to the mentioned pain foundations you put up on the page above. Not all of us financially can donate, but I hope inspite of that we can still have access to your blog. It is very helpful and I’m glad I was referred to it.

@ Myka - Thanks for your thoughts. And, to clarify, the blog would certainly remain open. It would just be an opportunity to donate, if people were interested in that.

Hi, I’ve been considering doing the same t hing on my blog. I’m really not terribly savy about the kinds of things that I might add to my blog. But have seen these donation buttons and think it would be a good way to make people aware of the need for money for research.

Lucky for me, I have a tech partner for this blog. As I understand it from RSDSA, it’s called a “plug-in.” And clicking on the picture goes to the pain site. If readers think it’s an ok idea to try, we’ll then see how successful it is for fundraising.

i would think it’s just fine to put such a button on this site. i probably wouldn’t donate, but if i was more comfortable financially i might. there are few causes that are as personally important to me as advancing the treatment of pain.

I think this would be a great idea. When I had a support group, ways of contributing to awareness and research were often discussed. I am also interested in putting one on my blog but I must confess being slack about looking into it.

I just wrote about this issue on my blog and I think you should go ahead and place a donation button on your blog. Donating the money to charity is a very generous and selfless act and I wish you well.
