My wife has had Ketamine for chronic back and neck pain from a work related injury. It has been a massive result in her walking after 5 years of wheel chair bound and could not place her feet on the ground yet we cannot obtain the agreement of her insurance company for the use of Ketamine. Amazing! Yet it works brilliantly.

The first time ketamine was used on me,5/08,it was injected 1st,before the oral surgeon removed all of teeth,(due to dry socket caused by ALL my pain meds for RSD.) The ketamine along with full mouth nerve blocks purpose was so I wouldn't develop RSD in my mouth, too.Thank God it worked. I also had an ease of symptoms,(4 close 2 two mos.)after this oral surgery,w/reguard to my full body RSD.The next time I had ketamine, was during my cervical & occipital procedures in 6/09, this time I had an ease of symptoms 4 nearly 4 months. Since PA,where I live has only approved a certain dose/amount 2 be used,I was only given the legal amount in an injection. I look forward to when Ketamine can be used in my state in higher doses as in other states. This was the 1st & only thing that allowed me 2 feel almost normal 4 the 1st time in 81/2 Yrs.!!

Thanks very much for this information. I'm currently under going the work-up proticals for the ketimine infusion. Dr. Swartzman, here in Philadelphia, PA is doing all kinds of resarch on this topic and has devoted his life to this plan of treatment. So, I am very excited to learn that there are others out there with the same kind of treatment plans, also. I really helps me to make up my mind with this extreme procedure.

Thanks Again
and God bless!!

I was very happy to see some updated information on Ketamine. I have CRPS in all my limbs. It's also in my back from surgeries for Spinal Cord Stimulators (many that don't work for me). Being very sensitive to medications, Ketamine would probably be my next step. My doctor doesn't mention it much because of my sensitivity to meds. With this information it really helps me to make up my own mind.

Thank You Very Much
God Bless You All
