If I'm honest with myself I ask for help from my husband probably too much and accept help from everyone else too little. Something to think about for sure...

I think I fall in the "do to little" category 60% of the time. When I do take action I always overdue it and pay for it for days. I need to learn how to balance.

I'm a "don't ask for help", "keep going because if you stop you might not be able to go anymore", "if I do ask for help, you'd best do it now, cause I must really be desperate and I will start doing it myself anyway in a minute" kind.
Most of the time, it works for me. But less now that RA has come to stay.
I know some that are helpless. It makes me work harder.
Healthy? No, probably not.
Easy to change. No, sometime I try, but you know, the people around me kind of like the somebody else does everything so they don't have to.
I think both "helpless" and "don't help me" are re-inforced by the people around them.

First off, that picture is perhaps the funniest thing I've seen all day. Second, I think a lot of people would believe they fall closer to the "too little" camp, while people they know might be cajoled into admitting they ask for too much help.
